Ivan Chikunov is a seasoned oil and gas professional with over 15 years of experience spanning field operations, technical management, and executive leadership. He began his career with Schlumberger, the world’s leading oilfield services company, where he progressed from Field Engineer Trainee to Operations and Sales Manager over the course of a decade.
During his tenure at Schlumberger, Ivan completed extensive technical training, including a two-month technical school in Abu Dhabi (2011) and a three-month program in Tulsa, Oklahoma (2012). He worked on a wide range of projects – from high-pressure gas wells and ultra-low-pressure gas wells to geothermal wells with wellhead temperatures up to 150 °C – across Europe, including the North Sea (UK and Norway), Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Austria, Romania, Turkey, Greece, the Netherlands, France, Italy, and Serbia.
In 2020, Ivan joined Action Energy Company in Kuwait as Business Development Manager. Leveraging strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative leadership style, he helped expand the company’s rig fleet five-fold and secure major oilfield service contracts. Recognized for his results and strategic vision, he was promoted to General Manager for Services and Business Development.
